Expected cost for amp/sum install?

I have looked into doing it myself but I simply don't have any experience and don't want to do any damage to my truck...

It's a single amp/sub install. How much would I expect to pay for this?

at least $35-50 for the amp plus wiring. Do you need a box for the sub? If so expect $100 plus just for that

I've got the custom box already luckily. Where might I find a place that installs for that price, I saw Best Buy and Circuit City are very high..

I would goto cc. If it's just installin a amp it will be something around 50-55$$. Some ppl will say cc sucks but it's pretty hard to screw up running wire.

U also might wanna check out a mom/pop shop. They might be cheaper and have more exporence.

lol i went to CC once and talked to the installer, seemed like a nice guy and was straight forward with him

i told him that i know car audio, and am only paying to get my stuff installed becuase i lack the time. i gave him all the amp wiring kits from knu konceptz that i had bought, and i told him to make sure my RCAs and signals were ran on the opposite side of the power and ground wires. he did his job pretty nicely. I have been running it ever since with 0 problems, and everything was installed fine. I ended up tipping the guy like 50 bucks because i would've payed triple to get the same thing done at any other place besides best buy.

I think they install like crap half the time because the people don't know what crap is and all they want is boom boom boom, so thats all they give them.

it just depends where u go and whos installing there at the time.

if u wanna question the guy before u get it installed, that will show u if he knows his shit or not.
