expanding foam?

If i recall correctly, i believe i was advised once on here to get some expanding foam for my truck lid rattling woes. Is this advised? From what i recall, application is to be done in small amounts between the pieces of sheetmetal and given time to allow it to set. Is this a good method of getting those slapping pieces of metal that compose the trunklid to shut up? LoL

I think that the vast majority of my rattling is coming from the parallel pieces of metal flapping against each other that I can't get to with the deadener. I have a fair amount of rubberized asphalt deadener on the lid as is. I'm mainly worried about it expanding and bulging the trunklid.

well, i put 1 can in between the sheets of metal and its helped SIGNIFICANTLY. I got another can that ill spray in there tonight and see how it goes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
