The Elevation Audio sub looks tight as hell, reminds me of the Memphis LVS.

It looks like the one pictured has an aluminum dust cap, is it a newer model or do you have a choice of dust caps?

Right.. not much of a flashy sub by any means but i've heard plenty of good things about them, and the T/S numbers look promising also...

Another new company that i think will be one of the great one's are Mass Destruction subs, but they are just releasing their subs next week.

Straight up, the DMX is like a RE MT but half the cost, looks better, and you can recone it yourself (kits are $120).....and trust me I have a MT so I have them sitting next to each other here at the house, and the DMX is much sexier and built better in general. Its a straight up SPL monster.

i've been very curious about those subs for a while now but living in the middle of nowhere i dont get the chance to listen to or see many different subs. add to that the fact that premier has always been good to me .. i tend not to stray to far but lately ive been craving something off the beaten path. i want to retain the spl but get more sq in the mix.

I understand that fully, im in a similar situation as I live out in the sticks. I took a chance on the DMX and when it arrived it exceded my expectations 10 fold. The DMX's really shine in a small SPL box tuned high, but if you want SQ its there but you need a larger enclosure. I took home 8 MECA sound quality trophies last year using my DMX, so it cant be all that bad.

What amazed me, and so many of my competitors and friends was the subs ability to just keep on taking abuse. I must of done 300+ burps with it over the season, and 4 MECA Deathmatches with it (where you compete till the death of your sub) and I took home the Deathmatch Trophy 3 times. For what I paid for it, it did its job well.

Here is some more pictures for you all, im sure it will be an interesting look at a sub that is so rarely spoken of. I dont know why more people dont use these..

DMX with 5 hz tone

I used to be on Team Massive, but they could never get their shit together so I ended up dropping them as a sponsor. They make good subs, but their company is up in arms at the moment because the same dude who bought RE bought Massive as well....this obviously doenst effect their subs any, just the way they treat people like me. But I still like their subs reguardless.

your right it takes a bit to push these, but I was actually pulling 146's out of this:

Those are two 500 watt Bazooka amps we tried as a joke on it, but it actually didnt do too bad.

Massive in general seemed to be a pretty nice upcoming company, but they sold out to the same guy that brought RE... sad. I wanted to try some of their amps...
