I just looked at the thread with the exotic subs and i noticed the magnets varied from absolutly tiny to enormous! What is the purpose of the magnet and why or how do they vary so much in size?

easiest magnet answer would be what they are made of.

there is Neodymium which is usually smaller on a driver since it has a higher magnetism.

then the other norma is Ferrite which has less force therefore you need more to equal the power of neo.

i know i probably used the wrong terms depeicting the magnets" magnetism"
