This is pretty much done as far as being reasonable, it's nothing more than who can stick their nose up higher and still be able to see the person under them. Science is a great tool and can explain MANY things but not everything. Turning a blind eye to the possibility that there is a creator is no better than extremists who say science is evil. The problem with many peoples negative views towards religion is it's based more so on organizations who use it for power and fear mongering . They twist things to there liking and agenda. While there's no need for me to get into some big debate here as it will get lost in the crossfire, here's a few things to think about in contrast between commonly taught vs truth: There is no place of eternal torment(Hell), not all good people go to Heaven, the Earth will not be destroyed, not everyone believed the Earth was flat, and there is irrefutable(scientifically backed)proof of the accuracy of Bible prophecy. People, places, once thought to be made up until they were discovered by archeologists, not just general speech like many so-called psychics but exact locations(did you know there were 2 Bethlehems for example?). The list goes on and on but if you've only listened to or had bad experience with those that 2 Timothy 4:3, then your frustration is not suprising. I love science, always have and always will, but I choose not to turn my back on either side.
