Calm down guy. No need to get mad. Not everyone has a bleeding heart. You should at least see it from his side. He phrased it in the most extreme way possible because right now we're careless with other people's money in the most extreme way possible. I can't afford kids. I'm at the age I would love to have some, but I can't afford them. Nobody owes my anything and I am responsible for my own actions, so seeing that I cannot afford children, I don't have them. Planned parenthood has been used to provide abortions. The government is not supposed to use taxpayer money for abortions. They were basically laundering money for abortions through planned parenthood. That is why it was shut down. There are a lot of lies and spin going on about this, but that's why.Lol you ignorant fucking douche. I hope you catch an std from a girl that now cant go and get a quick check up to make sure she's not carrying around something. Or better yet, I hope you marry one of the girls that went to planned parenthood to get a pap smear and they told her they dont do them anymore and then 10 years down the road you find out she has cancer and dies.
Its no worse than these people that are 60 on medicaid or the SS we're paying for.
I'm all for an agency that helps protect our teen girls and keep them healthy and help them out if they happen to get pregnant, which is one of the scariest times of their lives. You're a selfish fuck.
I understand why it was shut down fully. And I agree, they shouldnt pay for an abortion. But instead of just attacking the abortion issue and spending money on them, they are attacking the whole system and agency, which in fact is a great thing for younger girls. I dont care how you cut it, its not a win for society when you take something like that away.Calm down guy. No need to get mad. Not everyone has a bleeding heart. I don't know that anyone would argue that particular point if it worked that way.... instead it works like this: Either you stop the program until the changes that need to be made are implemented, or no changes get made at all. They are already not supposed to be doing this, but they have found a way to do it anyways. So, in order to get it stopped, they are shutting the program down, implementing the proper changes and then it will be back. If it wasn't there though, don't you think it would force people to take a little more personal responsibility? I'm not advocating it be taken away. I'm just asking the question.I understand why it was shut down fully. And I agree, they shouldnt pay for an abortion. I think where it helps most is where insurance cant be afforded or where they are scared to let their parents know whats happening. Those girls that go for those reasons I feel for because I'm sure they're scared to death. I know for a fact that agency has probably helped out and done good for more people than you can imagine. Taking away money from that vs. the other retarded shit these rich people want instead really blows my mind.I don't know that anyone would argue that particular point if it worked that way.... instead it works like this: Either you stop the program until the changes that need to be made are implemented, or no changes get made at all. That's how conservatives get votes. Religion, selfishness, hate. You're a selfish fuck.
Well when you have no one left we'll see which was the smarter route. But if you offer no help and do nothing about your country why have a government?SOCIALIST

In March 2009, approx. $15 billion was spent in Federal payrolls. Pro-rating this for a year, it's approx $180 billion. The 2009 budget included $3,100 billion in expenditures. Federal employees account for 6% of the budget. Even if we fired every federal employee we'd still have a huge deficit, oh and the government would stop functioning. Would you stop spouting conservatives bullshit.Doesn't each government job require 4-5 private sector jobs to support it with their taxes?
I didn't spout anything. I asked you a question that you conveniently didn't answer. Until you do, you admit you're just a loony lefty. In March 2009, approx. $15 billion was spent in Federal payrolls. Pro-rating this for a year, it's approx $180 billion.
