2 Kicker - 12in L5s - 600

Kicker - 1200 watt mono amp - 700

Kicker - 4 channel 600 watt amp - 400

Pioneer - avic-D1 - 1000

Infinity - Reference 6.5 components - 400

Raptor - 1/- ga multi amp kit - 150

I know you can get two of those with warranty for way cheap.

i can get 3 L7's for less than 500 :-\ so yeah 2 L5's for 500 is no no

you can probably haggle them down a bit, seems like they are charging you full retail for most of that stuff...

raptor wiring kit shouldnt be that much, raptor is the cheapy cheapy wire and accessories (but not necessarily bad, I use it in my own install)

Marketing hype. Back in the days of the 80s, the big names were rockford, mb quart, PPI amps and everyone knew isobaric enclosures were were the way to go if you wanted to compete. You couldn't walk into any car stereo shop without seeing/talking about an isobaric setup. Kicker decided that they would name a line of subs after the technology and reflect in their subs that you only needed one of their subs in a box to sound "just as loud as" any other isobaric setup. It was all marketing, not much else.

oh yeah btw, your local audio shop is really trying to hustle you. You are at the edge where you are falling for the trap into buying their equipment. That's how local audio shops can get to your head, into buying something because they are paid to hustle and grab as much as they can.

Good luck to you bro, but i still highly recommend doing more research in searching for better prices. Those prices are too HIGHHHH!

i would go with L7s over L5s and **** get it all on ebay for way cheaper. and what audio shop did u go to in lorain? and u still never answered the most important question in the other thread! what r u going for spl or sq??!?!?!?!?
