EQ question

depends on if you're buying a 7 band or a 32 lol.

get a 5 or 7 band eq with a built in in-line driver thats all u really need.

15 should be enough. esp if you are new to using them.., i wouldnt get more (even 15 is alot) until you really know what youre doing

an EQ can make a setup sound great, but it can also make it sound terrible, and the more bands you have, the harder it gets.

Yes. Spend your money on better speakers and you won't need as much eq'ing.

IT depends. IF you know how to make really good use of a good 30 band and maybe bring an RTA or other instruments into the equation, yes. IF you're not even sure what any of these frequencies do for you, no. I was thining about an add-on 10 band, then I dumped my Alpine and got my pioneer with buit-in 16 band graphic and time alignment and I have no interest in any furher processing right now. It would be literally more than I'd have the know-how to put to best use.

thanks bro. i'm in the same boat. even with the 16 that i have i am not really sure exactly what does what. i think in my case the problems are not the caued by the equipment so much as they are by the user
