EQ question

I want to keep my factory HU but I'm going to be running a pretty decent system through it. If I were to get an LC8 would that be good enough by itself for sound quality or would I also need an EQ although I don't really know how to mess with EQ's? My setup will be Rainbow Germanium components powered by a Phoenix Gold OCTANE-R 8.0:4, Focal CA1 (rear fill), 15" TC-3000 powered by 2 Power Acoustik A2400DB's.

Anyone? Should I just get an LC8, or should I get an LC8 and an EQ for a lot better SQ?
