I second the Boston set, though they like power.

for entry level components I would mess with *I know it sounds funny* but the DB Speed Series Components, they have well made x0vers, not to bright tweeters, which your going to find with the Infinity reference... the 6.5 inch are only like $200 - $250

The DB stuff isn't that great for the money. My buddy had one of the subs and it isn't that good.

I like my subs a lot. 450 a pair, handle 1500 rms easy a piece, sound **** fine to me and I've never had anyone tell me otherwise (although I'm sure there are people in this board who could). Having said that, just bought a 15 xxx to replace them (c'mon, it's a xxx). I also know a guy who has 2 PL12d4 in a ported box in his sentra, with the port running through the rear deck. With DB 1200 watt amp cranks out well over 143 db new TL. It's sick, his front window pulls about an inch both ways. He also has DB Components (he works at a DB shop), sound pretty decent, although not my fav. Check out something else for components, the lower MB quarts aren't too bad. The shop rocks though, def. best in omaha for installs. Whoo soundwaves!

My buddy has a platinum series 12 and its not bad, but better could be had for the money.
