Enough Power..?

If I'm running a setup that puts out 3300wts RMS with Amps from Orion, Would a 240amp Alt and 2 Yellow Tops be sufficent..? How exaclty do I hook up two or more batteries..? To me, the reason for having two batteries is if you are eaither entering a sound off competition or like to listen to your sounds with the engine off. As far as the alt. that would have enough "juice."

The battery is used for starting you car, and the alt. supplies the power to the rest of the car.
