engine noise

I just recently got my Rockford fosgate p3 installed into my scion tc, and its hooked up to an alpine M500. The problem I'm pretty sure is not with the amp or the speaker, I have a feeling it is with the wiring but I keep getting engine noise in my sub. Whenever I press the gas when the car is stopped I can hear the engine through my speaker n the same whenever I'm slowing down to a stop.i need some help getting this fixed so any ideas would b appreciated. Thanks

check you're ground's at the amp. headunit ect. and read over what jco1385 posted up..
