Engine noise in my subs?!?!

I recently purchased a 2014 Chevy Equinox LTZ. I had a professional install some after market subwoofers and an amplifier. I am now picking up engine noise through my subs even when the radio is turned off. The annoying noise happens at 1500 RPM or below. if i give it gas and it goes over 1500 RPM it stops immediately. The "professional" says hes never seen this problem... Im so frustrated! Can anyone help?

Thanks

oh I bet they had it "professionally" installed. That's why you have engine noise through the subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

Call and ask if what brand LOC they used. Or take the HU out yourself and find out.

It's not hooked up to my head unit, I know that all you have to do is tap into an original factory speaker wire or the factory subwoofer wire...I want to break the guys was who installed it because he's not fixing it!

So I took it to another place, more of a friend, and he said that it's the ANC. (Active noise cancellation) he said its on the high end GM models like my 2014 equinox. He said most likely he just needs to cut those wires and the problem will be fixed!?!? He didn't have time to do it today. So I thought I might get your guys thoughts please?!?!

I hate these new cars with their retarded features. If that's the case, don't cut anything if you can simply unhook the said wires. You'd have to figure out the wiring for ANC first.

"hey guys! Instead of sound damping the car to reduce road and engine noise, lets play garbage through the speakers!"

retarded azz engineers.....

So I did fix the noise problem myself finally today! Took a lot of digging, but I found a active noise control fuse! Pulled it out... Problem was solved!!!

New problem though.... Sooo I have 600watt concept amp. And it powered my 2 12" powerbass subs.. They were one voice cool, 450watts, 250rms...

I upgraded the subs and bought newer powerbass subs 2 12" dual voice coil 800watts a piece 450rms....

After I fixed the weird sound problem... I had to deal with the other problem that was going on... My amp keeps cutting in and out and going into protection mode!?!?!? Can the amp not power these brand new subs?? Is that my problem? What are my trouble shoot options??
