Enclosures materials

I was wondering what you the forum would recommend on using for the build of a solid box. its going to be a sealed enclosure.

3/4 mdf right. now what type of screws and glue do you recommend. i was thinking along the line for glue the titebondIII or the gorilla glue. what do you think.

for the screws 1 5/8" coarse threaded drywall screws, place the screws 4 to 5" apart and counter sink all screws.

please let me know what you guys think. and if iam wrong or you can suggest something better please let me know.

i use 3/4 MDF and good wood glue. i use and brad or nail gun instead of screws and clamps. u only need air nails to hold the wood in place while the glue dries. but if u dont have a air nailer corse dry wall screws about 1 5/8 long are fine

Depending upon the power it Sounds like you got the plan my man. Make sure all your cuts are straight, so that your panels fit together flush. What exactly does counter sink all screws mean?

Its a bit on the drill that makes a "gouge" for the screw head to sit below the surface of the wood. Makes for a cleaner look.

Its not a must, i didnt do it.

Titebond II is cheaper, so i bought it instead of Titebond III

Gorilla glue is even more expensive
