Enclosure question

Does it make any difference at all if I go with two seperate vented boxes as opposed to one box for two subs with a single shared vent in the middle (seperate chambers obviously)???
The single chamber versus multiple chamber box question gets asked here like twice a day. Its always the same answer too.
If you blow one sub in a shared chamber, the second is more likely to go out as well. If you aren't prone to blowing your equipment, that's basically moot.

Separate chambers inherently makes for a stronger box due to the added bracing of more internal walls.

If both are built and used correctly, there will be no sonic difference between the two.

I think that covers all the usual highlights. Oops one more... use the search.

alright, thats all dandy, but I'm not asking about seperate chambers vs one chamber. Both options have seperate chambers. Its about whether to use seperate boxes or not.

Will using seperate boxes have any effect on the sound vs using one box (one box with seperate chambers vs. two boxes)
