Enclosure question with 750 wt cvx 12" and RF 1200.1d

Hi,

I have a mdf box with 1.1 ft3 space and fitted with 750 rms cvx being pushed with RF 1200.1D rated 1397 watts. I don't believe it is getting loud enough (volume and bass) as it should. It was first sealed with polyfill and I seen some data that suggest porting it, so I did and tuned it to 35 hz. I clearly gained decibels but I think it should be louder than it is. In my whole setup, I believe my box is hurting my sound. I am wanting ideas if this is correct or is there something else wrong with my setup. I built a box for quad cab dodge and there isnt a lot of space under there. I realize it should be min 1.75 cu ft for ported and 1.0 cu ft for sealed. Should I seal it back up? It gets louder when ported. Thanks for the feedback and keep negative comments to yourself but constructive criticism is well received. I would be willing to change subwoofers that used smaller cu ft boxes if needed. Suggestions?

I agree but it is louder and has more bass then sealed. I'm limited on box size so what other options would you all suggest?? thanks
