So I picked up a CDT SQ-1200 for a decent price for my next build. It is a 12 inch cast with an rms of 600, which is right about what I will be putting to it. CDT recommends a very small sealed enclosure, no more than .75. I am no WinISP pro but when I modeled this I could not get a decently flat curve in a sealed enclosure and had almost nothing at the lower end(which I expected sealed)
When I modeled the sub in a ported enclosure, around 1.2 @ 30hz I got a much better looking curve and low end.
Can someone else model this is WinIsp or BB and see what you get? Thanks
