enclosure options for 2 hds300 15s ?

I'm thinking about doing 2 of these 15s in my 99 grand prix. I'd be sliding the box in through the cabin, I could cut some metal that just serves as an unnesescary anchor for my rear seats to get my 14 inch clearance up to 17. but I was wondering how these subs would sound firing up in a ~40 in d , 14 in height and 35ish in width in my car. electrical and power isnt an issue. space maybe, but I think I have the room to make it work. I'm going for hard to breath kinda bass so what can I do with this space? also could someone explain what the differences are between aero and vent ports? other than the obvious, what difference in sound does it make?

With that amount of space you could easily fit two 15's in there. I figure because that box is almost exactly 2x bigger than my hds312 box which was 4.0 cu ft b4 displace, with 65sq inches of port. That box was 38 wide 16 high and 18 deep so i figure you're working with around 8 cubes net and 120sq inches of port.

The difference between the ports to my knowledge are, sonotubes get you more port area with sacrificing less space. But then you have to factor in bracing because the port usually braces the box. So you gain space with aeros but lose space due to wood bracings or whatever you use. If you do the math figure out which will yield the most space to work with then build off that idea.

Oh yeah and hard to breathe bass will be 40hz+ but tuning two hds315's at 38hz will work amazingly because soundqubed subs like lowish tuning.

Don't quote me but i think aero's also provide better port velocity... nonetheless a regular slot port can be fabricated to have it's own great port velocity too
