Enclosure Opinions

you could use the 6's up front if you wanted to but I would sell them for deadener and other sound proofing supplies.

Have all of my doors deadened(atleast 2 layers) and am working on getting them sealed asap. Will Probably have my roof deadened too.(at some point)

But, even with that...Wouldn't I have more "punch" with those back there than I would without them? Like I said they sound good right now,

they just don't have the "bottom" that I'm looking for.

So it would be more like having a 12 and a 8" sub back there as opposed to two 12's.
Close enough, either way, I think its unnecessary. Even if you do get the "punch" from those 6s in the cargo area, that just makes for more issues with blending everything and putting the midbass in front of you IMO. I've run 12w6s (old school and new school) and I can honestly say I never felt like they were lacking "punch" at all. Those Boston Pros up front in properly sealed doors and that w6 in your cargo will be great once you get it all tuned out and blended well. No need to over exaggerate the midbass.

You're always my voice of reason...lol I need to stop over thinking everything.

LOL because alot of the ideas you seem to have are, for the most part, things I once considered a little while back. Some of these things I've even tried and can tell you from personal experience that you can get better results going a different route.

Was wanting to ask some of you guys this as well...I've noticed that each time that I've had my amp installed they set the freq range on my amp somewhere between 80 and 100hrz. Is this just a default setting they do so that customers don't blow their shite up in a week...Or does this actually give you the best SQ?

What are yours set at?

depends on your equipment and install and sometimes even the type of music you're listening to. For example, I know my subs can be crossed as high as 80hz and still sound good. I know, since I'm giving my midbass drivers about triple their RMS I cant cross them too low without bottoming out when I crank it. So, when I listen to hip hop and I know I'm gonna really wanna crank it loud, I cross my fronts at 100hz, when I'm listening to some good SQ, acoustical music, 63 or 50hz, etc. No partiular point works for every install

So, in a way that is a default position...Because they don't know what type of music you're listening to or how loud you're listening to it.

Wish I hadn't had them install it beneath my seat now...Hard to get to it to make adjustments.
