Enclosure for JBL GT-5- 12's

Buddy of mine's bought 2 jbls. Want a nice enclosure for crisp clean bass- deep as they'll play. Ported probably. Trunk car.

I don't know how the gt-5's sound.

Guy has a boss amp- prob 200/side at 4 ohms.

I'm in greensboro. I'm really building my own custom enclosures. I need to dial in the specs for these particular subs though. Thought about 3.5cubes@ 33, with 40in of port, but I don't know if that's best for those jbl's.

I had a few different JBL subs...

... To me personally.

2.0 cubes EACH, tunes @ 38hz-42hz sounds the BEST

... I tuned lower... and they give a " bottoming out " sound

Their stand alone freq. is like 33hz...

... So no lower than 38hz, no higher than 42hz @ 2cuft each ( after displacements )
