Im planning on doing a very budget build for my santa fe. Space isnt a issue for what i want i have plenty of room.

Im looking to do a build with 2 Hds200 15's and will have about 2500watts on tap & before rise & voltage drop(dont feed me the go to a different sub stuff please). I looked at the SQ website but i just gives a vague information on the enclosure sizes for the subs, also the port info is given in slot ports. Im just trying to gather info for these subs and determine a good size enclosure for them as well as the port(in aeros). Any info that you guys have for them or experience with them is much appreciated. What im aiming for is a good mix of daily and SPL, more leaning toward the SPL side which is why i tune around 37hz usually(its my medium of the 2).

What i have came up with so far is this, you may critique me if you like:

2 Hds200 15's

Soundstream Ta1.3k wired to 1ohm(rated 2500)

Enclosure Dimensions:

40-L x 21-H x 20-D

8.04 cubes internal gross vol

Subs Displacement- Hds215 = .11ea (.22 total for 2)

Aero Port Displacement- 1-10" aero @ 12" = .55

Internal Cubes Net(after subs & port) - 7.27

1-10" Aero = 78.5 sqin of port

Roughly 10.797 Sq-inches of port per cube

Cubes Net Per Sub - 3.635

Tune - 37hz

I have always built smaller boxes in daily/SPLish builds to handle the extra power I intend on throwing in.

Last weekend (in a quick throw together system for a comp this weekend)I built a 4.7 cuft (after displacement) box tuned to 37hz for a pair of 15"s on 2400ish watts. It's a touch smaller than I would normally do on such low power but I was able to build the box outside and slide into a trunk:

I know space isn't an issue for you, but I'd lean a little on the smaller side with 2500 watts on a pair of 2.5" coils.

I'll have USACI outlaw TL number (Trunk 0-1000 I think) this weekend I'll be glad to share if anyone is interested.

Please do share, im always interested in numbers. How much/ how big of port are you using with that enclosure

nice, like i said pls share your results once you compete
A very un-impressive run of 141.5 @ 39 hz which got me a second place trophy. I bet moving the box around may have helped a lot but I never did any testing. This car will have 10"s or 8"s in it before I get my own meter again.
