Alright, this enclosure will be for Scapelli's pair of 12's which will most likely be Nightshades iirc.

Specs come to:

-4.3 cubes net

-6" aero port

-30hz tuning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Got a bit done tonight, pieces cut and edges of the side panels rabbeted for ease of carpeting later..

Single 6" areo going to be enought port area? Not like I know myself, lol, just curious.

You switching over from .5 insets to rabbiting? nice start:)
I switch it up every now and then, in the beginning with this design though I couldnt afford an inset on the sides so I planned on a rabbet from the start and stuck with it.

It's a hair under the 7 sq inches of port per cube ruling but it should be just fine imo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you recess the sides a whole half, i usta do just a 1/8 but i would fight with it every now i then so i just rock the 1/4, im curious how the rabbited edge is gonna work for carpiting!

Yea, I go with a .5" recessed area just so it is something to grab onto as well if space allows. And the rabbeted sides are pretty easy and clean for carpeting, joo'l see //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

lookn good. how much a foot do u get 6" abs? i found a place that has 8" abs for 6.35 per foot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
