Enclosure advice for 13w3v3

I just received my 13w3v3 that I will be installing this weekend after I build my box. I'll be pushing 400 watts to it and I don't have room for a ported enclosure in my truck. I want it to be as loud as possible, hit low notes well, and still maintain as much SQ as possible. JL recommends:

13W3v3-2 1.750 cu. ft. / 49.6 liters 16.625 in. x 16.0 in. x 16.0 in.

422 mm x 406 mm x 406 mm

Should I go larger than this and if so how much?

you can build that box and use poly-fill to stuff the box with. the poly-fill will "make" the sub act as if it were in a larger box and help out with the lower end fq's
I suppose you mean this?

How does it work?

How much should I use?

Where does it go in the box?

Does it need to be secured?

I can add three to four inches to some/all of the box dimensions. Would I be better off making the box larger than going with the poly-fill?
