Genre of softcore punk music that integrates unenthusiastic melodramatic 17 year olds who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar rifts with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in the summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle.

emo is a new fad. thats true.

but i'm not going to abandon my music just because everyone else is lisetning to it. i'm not some anti-conformist sellout *** that is going to try so hard to anti-conform i change my tastes because of it. that just means i never had any tastes to begin with.

i still love all of the music, but i was never really apart of the trend. none of my friends are emo at all, most of those kids are so whimsical in their following of trends that they have no solid personality that anyone likes to begin with.

my apologies, i mean little-talent. not to say individually they dont have musical talent (well iono about some of the lead singers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif), but the way they mesh their music together just doesnt flow rite. sounds like a lotta semitalented people playing something all at once with little coherence.
