Elemental Designs vs Alpine amps

Newbie here. I am currently in the process of upgrading the sound system in my '94 Z28 Camaro which my son is inheriting. We currently have an Alpine CDA-9857 Head Unit and 4 Infinity Reference 6.5" spreakers.

The amplifiers we are looking at are the Elemental Designs Nine.4 and Nine.2 (to push an ED 110v2 Subwoofer) or the Alpine MRP-F450 and MRP-M650 (to push a alpine SRW-1022 Subwoofer)....We are also still deciding on which 10' sub to go with.

The single 10" sub will be installed into a Subthump.com Camaro passenger side "Stealthbox"

Any opinions on these amps or suggestions for other amps, in the same price range will be greatly appreciated.

i think eD has package deals. that might work out. I've used the eD nine.2 and liked it. Good amp lines. They DO have a 5 channel amp now too.
