Elemental Designs Subs Arrived

Finally, after almost 4 months, the brand new ED 11Kv2 subs arrived. I got them last Wednesday, and since then Ive been running everything to my trunk to get everything installed. Still no power to them, but I cant wait to see how they sound coupled with the ED Nine.1, ED Nine.2 component amp, and CDT components. Should make for a really nice sound stage.

This is one thing that Im not sure on how to setup. I can do all of the wiring, and installation, but getting things tuned to the propper setting will be one of the things Im a n00b at. Any tips you can provide me with so I dont blow anything up?

I have a 2000 1.8T w/ the Monsoon system. How did you fit you CDT mids in the door? I have a set of Type X comps and if I have them put in they will stick out almost an inch; it's one of the main reasons why my system isn't in yet. Also, did you mount your tweets in the A-pillar?

I have yet to mount the components yet. One thing Im trying to work out is the dimensions, as well as mounting.

Yes, I put the tweeters in the stock door sail location. I had to modify them slightly, and then glue the tweeters in, but they are in. The magnet is a little large, and causes the top of the sail to stick out slightly, but its very hard to notice.
