Not to mention that in a couple of the SPL categories, the EVO-R was actually beaten by the JL 12W7... Mr. Overpeck is highlighting ONE category out of 5...

is that the sub that didn't meet his specified dumax? or was that the 12?? so if you get a prototype you might be okay, cuz it'll actually do 27mm of xmax....but if you can only find the production ones, it won't be as loud as a w7.....

why didn't you go ahead and mention that BOTH drivers sent to Tom Nousaine to review, were glued ELEVEN MILLIMETERS forward of center.....

Also.. you failed to mention he broke one of them, due to the motor shoving the coil farther than the cone could go.... This is another reason metal cones aren't the greatest for woofers... but that's another dance..

I just finished reading the rewiew.... it wasn't as "stellar" "spectactular", and "amazing" as you're claiming...

How many other drivers slipped out with coils resting 11 mm forward of center?
