Elemental Design 11kv vs. RE SR 10"

Ah yes, eD's saving grace... the fact that they out-sourced their Nine.1 to a decent build house. Awesome. But I personally will chose an amplifier, of the same or higher quality, in the same price range, from one of many other manufacturers who dont support global terrorism. I like puppies, they never hurt anybody.
eD does not offer one single product that you could not replace with the same, or better, elsewhere. eD is, and probably always will be, a "me too" company. So why chose them over another company that does not have the pitiful reputation for being crooks?

Im confident the absolute only reason the Nine.1 is a decent product, is BECAUSE eD doesn't actually build them. Their in-house products tend to **** balls. So sorry, a re-badged amplifier from Korea or China with eD's logo on it, that doesn't **** balls, still does not impress me in the least. Im glad you are happy with your amplifier though.
Where can you find an amp that puts out 1200rms @ 1 ohm @ 12v for under $300? Most nine.1 amps bench over 1400rms @ 1 ohm.

btw nine.5 pwnts, its big and does the job. i will only get rid of it when and if IA comes out with a 5 channel amp. 100x4 @ 4ohm & 1500rms @ 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif:crazy://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

How much of that $300 goes towards killing puppies?
Both my PG Tantrums benched at over 1550 watts, and cost me less than $300. *shrug* Im too lazy to look up any current models.

And in the end, Id rather spend a few more bucks to save a puppy's life, if that's what it takes. Sometimes there are more important issues at hand than if its the best deal or not for me personally. But if you only care about yourself, and not about puppies, I can see the dilemma you would have to face.

I would like to be know of as solid an amp that puts out the kind of actual power at 14.4v a NINe.5 does, that has bandpass capable crossovers, 1 ohm stable sub channel, for $350 new, which is what most of the people paid for theirs new.
