electrical upgrades?

alright i am planning on running a cadence zrs-10 (2500 watts) and a Fi Btl 18 i was wondering what all electrical upgrades i will need. i am planing on getting a 240 amp HO alt. and do the big 3. and using all 1/0 awg wiring. Will i need a new battery under the hood? or a 2nd in the back? or anything else?

if it helps any i am putting this all in a 2002 jeep grand cherokee with a 4.0l engine

i would get at LEAST a second battery in addition to the big 3, i would be safe and get 2 good batteries though.

2500 watts will draw some current, thats for sure

This is a big question I am having also. Do i get a Yellow top, and then like a Batcap 800 for the trunk, or do I just get a 16V battery under the hood and call it a day???.... Or does it matter which one I do. If I have a 16V bat. under the hood, what good does the Batcap do then, ya know?

Your alt has to put out 16 v for that bat.

A 240 and a good size bat might do it. I have a 200a and it's not enough to keep up with the current demands for my amp.

so replace my stock battery with a deep cycle or get another one to put in the back ?

if it were me i would get at least a 200 amp alt and something down the lines of a group 31 sized battery like a kinetik 2400 in the back.
