Electrical Upgrades: HO Alt and Battery

I'm planning on upgrading my system soon to having 2 SA 12's, along with what I already have. Total I should be running around 1700-1900w between my two amps. I'm looking into what upgrades I should look into for my electrical. I have a stock alt (think its 100 amps) and stock battery. I plan on getting the big 3 done soon.

I've seen much debate between people of getting a better battery before a HO alt is a good or bad idea. I'm not opposed to a new alt, it's just I'd much rather buy a $200 battery instead of a $400 alt.

What's your guys recommendations?

Like I'm all for getting another battery, it's just some people say it won't anything without a HO alt. Is this true? And what sort of battery(s) should I get for my particular system?

Battery are only not useful if your alts isn't able to keep up and recharge the batteries but in your case you should be fine. And get the batteries from mich he sells them stupid cheap.

What's the specs for one of those batteries? And I'd like to put one under the hood and 1-2 in the back. 3 in the back might begin to be a bit much is all

I just went out and checked what type of battery is stock with my Camry, and it's a 750 CCA EverStart. Would I even see any increase in preformance if I got something like an XS power D1200?

What group size is your factory battery? If you have a real current draw issue getting an agm will only make it to where you can play your system longer before voltage drops are seen. The real answer to your problem will be to get a better alt but if you can get a battery with enough reserve on it then you'll be ok. Either way you need to upgrade your charging cables to atleast 1/0.

It's 24F. And I did some testing with my current setup. I used a DMM to check the voltage and it idled at around 13.4 V and when henry bass hit dropped to no lower than 12.4 V
