Depends on how big your stock alternator is

It might say it on your alternator....you can just call up a dealership and ask.

found it, 105 amps, u think that can handle the jbl1200

shit, well i dont think im gunna be running it over 1000 that much at all since its gunna be pushin a 15a in a ported box which will definatly be loud enough for me even wit less than 1000. Any other idea then for another amp wit about 1000 watts, nothin more than that i guess cuz i will have the same problem, for about the same price. Or u think i will be ok wit the jbl??

Either get the JBL, see how it is at 1 ohm, if you have major dimming, wire it to 4 ohms for the time being, save up for a new alt

OR

Find another amp that will draw less current...

The A doesn't need 1000 watts to get it going, 600 would get it moving very well...

thanks, good idea. But how come on thezeb it says it has a subsonic filter and if i go to the us acoustics site it does not have one listed.

I KNOW, it has a SSF. They might have somthing mixed up. But ya, good choice...

It took them awhile for them to post those D class amps on there, probally working on some new amps...
