Electrical Problems

Okay I have a 2000 Dodge Stratus and I have a HO Stinger Alternator, I did the Big 3, and I also have two red top batteries, one under the hood and one in the trunk. But I'm still dimming my lights, my highs amp cuts out and I mean I really cant crank my music because I drops volts like it ain't nothing. This is what my system consorts of right now.

2 L7 12's

2 Cvx 12's

2 PA 3000 amps

4 JVC 6x9's

2 JVC 6.5's

1 Diesel Audio 4x400 amp

1 160 watt amp on my tweeters

1 Crossover

1 Maxxbass

1 5 farad Cap

Now if u have any clue why my stuff is acting crazy please help. Also do anybody know how to get that engine noise out of the head unit?????

remove the ferrets, they chew shit up.

So what type of batt's do u think I should get because I need them like yesterday... Like can I go to Walmart and the biggest battery that will fit under my hood and then get one a lil bit bigger to go in the trunk... Also I had to take the 4 gauge wire off the battery that was coming from the Alt. because my car wouldn't start so whats up wit that

yellow top, kinetik , deka intimidator.....you also should make sure your alt is doing its job. while the car is running check to see where the voltage is on both batteries with a dmm. if both read over 13 volt then its either your batteries or wire ga used to connect everything together (dont measure with stereo on)

Like wit the car on it reads something like 15.58 at both batteries... but tyme I turn the music on and the first bass drop come threw everything shut off like the car even idle down like its about to shut off. the only thing that stay on is bass amps, and my tweeter amp and the radio. and the volt read something like 10.4 or it will even drop down to something like 9 then I turn it down and will come right back up to 15.58 if I give the car gas it will come back up to 15.8 something

agreed. you shouldn't even need the caps with the upgrades. running power comes from the alternator, not the battery.

checking grounds might solve that as well. you may kill 2 birds with 1 stone here. check all your grounds. big 3, amplifiers, head unit.

Should I ground all amps at the same place, or different places
