do you know if the amp is definitely getting power or not? If not, could be a blown inline fuse. If your amp is getting power and you are certain that everything is wired correctly, it could be your ground even though you're certain it isn't. Double check your fuses and your wiring

Is the protection light coming on the amp or is it powering up normally?

Any blown fuses in the power wire or on the amp?

well the nine.1 isnt meant to be played at .5 ohm, is it in protect or just not getting power?
