Hi guys I have a pioneer 880prs radio and a set of edi6500 componet speakers, now i plan to install jsut these and i dont plan to get an amp and i dont want an amp.
I was woundering if i jsut connected the speaker to the stock wiriing in the, and connect the speaker only. I dont plan to use the crossover and i dont plan to use the tweeters?
The question i have is, how much of a difference will the speaker itself sound over the stock speakers that i have in the doors right now. Does it make a HUGE difference whether i use the crossover for the speaker and use the tweeter or will it even matter since im just running it off the hu.
Also since the tweeter may be a hassle to put in, can i run the speaker off the crossover and not connect the tweeter to the crossover.
I have never dealt with componets be4 so i have no idea how use them in different ways.
