Well..you'd probably see a jump of roughly 100-120 watts. @ 14v

It was designed for a 1-Ohm load. 1009 X 1. If you can get your subs down to 1-ohm then you straight.

They weren't "designed" for a one ohm load, they are one ohm stable, that doesn't mean you have to run it at 1 ohm....

No you don't have to run it at 1-ohm, but to get the most out of it. 1-Ohm is your best bet. The specs clearly show tha 1-ohm is the idea load for max power.

yeah, their optimum output is at 1ohm which is 1009watts. But i feel like being nice to my electrical system n run a system at 2ohms rathe than @ 1 ohm. 1 ohm would draw more current than at 2 ohm .

just watch, edesign nine.1 is gonna be like the JBL1200.1, hype wise i mean. at least it's alreayd started here in caraudio.com

Late spring-early summer, according to Loyd...Hopefully I'll have 2 of them come summer....

should do around 600 watts at 2 ohm, and an easy 1200 at 1

According to Ben, the amp should be pushing near 800 watts at 2 ohms. I plan on getting two e12k4's and running them at 2ohms for the same reason as others... 1 ohm would slaughter my electric system, but the extra room for growth is nice
