eD10O Dual or Single 4ohm VC vs RESE10

First I wanna thank everyone who has helped me in the past, but I have another question. I've decided I really don't want to run a butt load of power, I wanna run 1 10 & I wanna go sealed with good SQ. Which would you all recommend? Possibly thinking about going SVC if I go with the eD10O due to the amp I really want to go with, but I'm flexible. Would really like to hear from those who have heard both in the correct boxes, but welcome all responses. Thanks in advance...

There really won't be any audible difference between an SVC speaker or a DVC Speaker.

The ED 0's are great subs. Incredibly smooth and accurate. A decent choice for your SQ System.

The primary advantage of using DVC over SVC is wiring flexibility.

With an SVC 10 o - you are stuck with a 4 ohm load.

With a DVC 10 o - you can have 2 or 8 ohm loads depending on if you wire the VC's in series or paralell. You could also run it with only 1 VC at 4 ohm.

Depends on the final impedence that you need. If you only need 4 ohms - by all means - go for the SVC. Anything else - the DVC would be your choice!

i thought the ed 10o only came with 2 ohm and 4 ohm dvc.

I dont think they come with single voice coils.
