ED K-series?

9kv.2. There is a guy on here selling four used ones. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those three. However, there are many people on this board who absolutely hate Elemental designs, so be ready to hear about it.

dont get the 9kv.2 or any K-Series sub, there weakass subs that will break very easily and will not be covered by ed, i had a 13kv.2 on 300 watt rms and it stopped one day, sent it in and they said i burnned the voice coil witch is BS. There warranty is a peice of S H I T. Get the SS or TC, and BTW TC makes the SS subs

if for $60 or less shipped like that one guy in teh classified section, its somewhat worth it, but definitely not worth its price of $95...i think my 9kv3's are ok but definitely not as good as my old assassin's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

i got a few 8's in the mail tho:up2somet:

i'd def look into a tc1k 8"...

is TC a direct only company?

turns out the DD's and SS's will be too deep of a sub for where im putting it. (s10 reg cab) and i need all the leg room i can get.

so what about Diamond? how many watts can their D308 handle comfortably?

I second that, I had that happen with 6!!! of ED's woofers over the past 3 years, and had the same situation, and my 16kv.2 blew on 330watts rms

well i have owned several ed subs and have only had a problem with 2 of them

one was my fault for sending it 6-700 watts free air, i bet you can guess the outcome of that one...

and the other was a 19ov.2 which got messed up in shipping.

for the price there subs are pretty nice.

if you are on a budget that is the way i would go.

but if you have the money to spend i would definitely look into a rl-i 8 or tc-1000 8

i was going to one one of those, but they both have a ~6" mounting depth, which is too deep.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
