ED audio is toying w/ me.

I bought the 2 12k avionixx 800.2 package and some edead from them. First they sent me the edead, which is seeable, Then just today I got 1, thats right just 1, of my 2 subs. I think it must be something with UPS's shipping because they had the package marked as sent. But still, I have one beatiful sub, no power for it and nothing to join it in banging out bass notes. Just 1 sub to stare at and imagine what it will sound like.

Yes I did. The UPS truck comes about noon or so here and it is now 11:10 or so.(every clock in my house has a differnt time) So I will keep u posted on how they sound when I get them in.

Working on two of these but if I can get smart in the next few days and figure out how to build bigger boxes tunned to about 30hz or maybe a little lower I will do that. This is going to be my first time building my own box.

16" high 26" deep 36" wide

Those numbers are max. It can be less if needed for the ports to work out.

I'd say do around 16x18x28, which is 3.669 ft^3 before sub and port displacement (assuming 3/4" MDF). As far as port, get 25 sq inches of port (5x5 would be good), and do it about 16.2 in. long, for a tuning of 30 hz.

So 16" high 18" deep and 28" wide.

Would a 12.5 x 2 port that is 16.2" long right between the 2 subs work.
