I got the dual 3 ohm type R's, and I current running them with a boss rev2000d *not that great*, Money is no object. Yet I dont want you guys to suggest shit like 2 mrdm500s that are just completely waste of money. What is the best amp I can buy for those subs they are currently wired in parralel at 1.1 ohms. Preferbly suggest one in the pheonix gold titanium series like the 600.1 or 800.1 ,

if money was no object, why did you get Type R's? anyways... Pheonix gold is good stuff, and you will pay a fair bit for it...

check out the Titanium or Tantrum series, looks for a RATED 6-700 watts... they are fairly underrated..

if you lookin for 600-700watts, then i would say check out some amps from crossfire, memphis, ARC audio, Zapco, JL/Audio, Eclipse, Orion, i mean you said money is no object.

yeah, if money were no object, you could have gone way better than type Rs.

What sub is better i had two audiobahn 12s was super loud but i need sound quality. only thing I dont like about my type rs is need abit more spl. Guys they are the dual 4 ohm . Which phoenix gold amp would you say the ti600 or ti 800 ?I cant remember if they are mono block or not but if they are think they can handle them at 1,1 ohms? If not id prefer to run them using two channels.

the Titanium 1000.2 would work well for you.

rated at 1kw at 4 ohms bridged. that is MORE than enough power for your Type R's, and probably your best choice of the Phoenix Gold lines. If you wanted a little more power on tap look into the Tantrum 1200.1. However, this might be a little much for those Type R's. You will also have to be responsible with your gain levels with either amp.

Thanks for all your replies. Also the foo who said duhh not 1.1 0hms one ohm. I had my subs tested at 1.1 ohms thank you very much. lol

Guys I really would like a nice sound quality and SPL amp around the same level as phoenix gold itd be really cool If i could just use two channels and run each sub like that.

why would that be cool?

you get better efficiency and more power by bridging.

Also guys maybe i phrased that wrong I want to do competitions, yet money is sort of an object. I have 1500 bux in my bank account, and I can get like 400 bux for my current amp. Right now I got a problem with my cda-9807 deck, If I put the sub control all the way up I still have to mess with the bass signal which goes to my speakers as well. TO get the most bass outta my system id have to make my speakers fart. So maybe i should just go buy a phoenix gold bass boost.
