Eclipse CD5444 Aux Input - where is it?

I purchased an Eclipse CD5444 about a year ago new from CarToys. I let them install it.

I've had a lot of success with it (though I'm not sure they hooked up the FM antenna correctly since it's got a lot more static than the factory installed device).

Anyway, I've been having some issues reading MP3s lately. I can't track down whether it's the unit or my burner.

I figured I'd go ahead and get an IPOD and use the AUX Input features for now.

The thing is, I'm not sure where the Aux input is. Is it in the back of the unit and do I need more installation done to get this setup going?

I don't have the tools to work with it, so if it is, I would take it back to CarToys and see what they can do or find someone else local in Dallas (I'm in Denton)

Thanks!

welcome to the forum.

As far as your issue reading .mp3 files have you considered the possibility that it isn't either your HU or your burning utility but rather the type of media you're using?

If I'm not mistaken, however, to directly answer your question, the aux. input on that HU is in the rear of the unit's chassis with the rest of the RCA cabling. If you feel safe pulling the HU to access that cabling in the back then you won't need to go back to CarToys to have them fool with it.
