Eclipse cd-8445 issue

i previously owned a Sony CDX-M8815X and Ive just had the eclipse installed. My problem is that my sony HU had much more output from the sub. My eclipse maybe puts out 1/2 to 3/4's as much bass......What could be the issue?

What level is your subwoofer set to on the deck? Are you in Standard or Pro mode on the deck?

The last thing to check would be the gains on your amp. When I went to my eclipse deck, I turned my gains completely down on my amps, but depending on what you are running, you may want to re-adjust your gains with the new deck.

im on pro mode right now........but it seems to me that im going 2 have 2 turn the gains all the way up

i have that problem with my Alpine 9851.. it has way to much mid bass and not enough subwoofer bass. and i switched from a Sony head unit too. i reset my gains, and it's a little better, but no where near where it used to be.
