audio control epic-160 or epiccenter trunk mount?

do they do the same thing? im leaning more towards the indash epic 160 because i have nowhere to mount anything behind my seat.

btw i didnt know which section to post this in, and it said equalizers underneath it so, mods move it if its a problem

Basically the same thing, only the Epic-160 includes the SPL mic in it to measure your SPL.

But neither of them are "equalizers", they are "bass restoration" units. Basically, it searches the music for what it thinks are harmonics of a lower fundamental frequency that may not be present in the recording. If it finds those upper harmonics, it will "recreate" the fundamental frequency at the output level it thinks it should be at.

imho..trunk mount is better...

i wouldnt get the epic150 or 160.....the spl meter is not accurate..so its a waste of extra money to have a feature thats not even remotely decent to the tl mic or even audio controls own ac190 mic

i love mine, it juss makes the bass so much more smoother and deeper. its a nice toy 2 have and its juss shocks people when i roll up 2 a show or cruise nite playin some phil collins or some ol school marvin gaye. and its nice 2 have if ya got a street beater, but if not used properly, u can and will damage ya subs

i just got an epic 160, its a pretty cool little piece, i would rather have the epic 160 becaus eof the volt meter and spl gauge just as little nick nacks
