Pioneer decks dont' have that problem. Careless installers do. Fact is, Pioneer decks sound every bit as good as Eclipse decks do. It all comes down to personal preference.I would go with the Eclipse. I am using it. And it is not known for the pico fuse problem that the pioneer will have. Yes they all have "Time Alignment" but the Eclipse comes with a killer warranty from Eclipse. If it is bought from a dealer. 1 year theft replacement, and 3 year product warranty. The controls can be a bit clumsy at time, but you get used to it.
lol and its also what, 700, 800 from a dealer?I would go with the Eclipse. I am using it. And it is not known for the pico fuse problem that the pioneer will have. the 9835 is active capable.i had an 880....and used to have a 9835 i think it was ( i know not active) and now i have the 7200MKII....eclipse is my fav...and i love the built in bluetooth (especially cause driving while talking on the celly is illegal here in NJ now)
But the Eclipse's are soooooo ugly these days. Pioneer's 800 PRS has a copper chassis and has the ability to turn off the internal amp therefore making it a dead head. The 9887 has this as well. Not to mention the 9887 has far better tuning capabilities. But if you have to have bluetooth & USB I think you could have gotten that with a much cheaper unit.i have the 7200.. i choose it over the 880prs because it comes with bluetooth, has copper chasis, and buit in USB also is a dead head so less chance for noise. but i also run a RF 360.2 for the extra eq tune ability
