Eclipse CD 7200mkII, Pioneer Premier 800PRS or Alpine CDA-9887

So the Pioneer is probably the way to go? The 800PRS definitely looks nice, but does it still have that **** picofuse issue?
The pico fuse is to protect the rest of the unit in case of a short. It's for protection, not annoyance. Too bad there are too many idiots installing their own head units that keep screwing them up.

Yea I know, but it is easy to accidentally blow, good thing I am smart enough to keep the power unhooked until all of my other connections are made.

yea. i bought mine cause I got a great deal on it and I listen to the radio quite often so i like dedicated presets.
I am satisfied with my sound, but i would like to have the independent eq though to do some more tweeking.
By independent eq do you mean left and right eq, or what are you referring to?

i had an 880....and used to have a 9835 i think it was ( i know not active) and now i have the 7200MKII....eclipse is my fav...and i love the built in bluetooth (especially cause driving while talking on the celly is illegal here in NJ now)

You know what's sweet about alllll of those units listed????
they allll have TIME ALIGNMENT!!!

http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=371238

Time alignment will make the MAG v4 sound sooo much better! Even though it's already the bestest of the bestest

! OMG
Well, I never said any of that, but yes, time-alignment is on all of them, I have never used it before though so I would have to experiment with it.

As of now I think I would go with the Pioneer, I love my current Pioneer and it seems to be the one that has the least problems.

I would go with the Eclipse. I am using it. And it is not known for the pico fuse problem that the pioneer will have. Yes they all have "Time Alignment" but the Eclipse comes with a killer warranty from Eclipse. If it is bought from a dealer. 1 year theft replacement, and 3 year product warranty. The controls can be a bit clumsy at time, but you get used to it.
