Head Unit frequency response?

you are a missing the point completely
http://www.bcae1.com im sure its in there somewhere
idk man im just going through my headunits manual and scraping up whatever i can find that would explain why im not hitting lows well at all.. theres no "lows" option on my HU like other people have said they have and the crossover is confusing as hell to me

my headunit says the frequency response it 20 hz-20khz, +3 to -3 db.. i thought most headunits went to + or -6? if so then what is that affecting?
You're confusing your eq with your head units frequency response rating. The equalizer has an adjustable range of -6 to +6. 20-20k is what you're deck is capable of reproducing.

Does your deck have dedicated subwoofer preouts.?? If so, is that what you have them hooked up to?? Also, you may have the crossover points set wrong as well.
