Eclipse Aluminum differences

I am trying to find out what the major differences are between the old Eclipse SW8122.4 and the new SW8200 series. Recently I picked up the 8122.4 brand new in box. I only got one figuring I would be satisfied but low and behold I want more. I should have bought a second at the time and now I cannot find one. I am running this one off a PPI PC2150, and I have an Art Series A600 to use for another woofer. Would I have any problems buying the new 8200 series as they are single 4-ohm VC and combining it with my other Eclipse? I would not run the pair in a common chamber enlosure or a ported setup.

I think the new ones use LMT, but I forget off the top of my head if I am thinking of the right model

the new 8200 are totally different than the Sw8100 series. just keep looking and checking ebay and another sw8122 will turn up.

I figured they were but I thought I would check anyway. Maybe I will try porting my 8100 and see how it sounds.

you will like it but it needs a lot of airspace. i'd suggest at least 2ft around 28-30hz.

maybe I will make that my project in the upcoming weeks and then I can compare. I have actually never ran any sub ported. My last sub was the old D series solo's and they were designed strictly for sealed enclosures.
