eclipse 8445 problem/question

whenever it is playing radio it works fine, but when I play a cd my amps cut off because it is not sending a signal to turn them on. is there some setting to fix this that I dont know of?

you connected your remote wire to the power anttenna wire. the PA wire is only on when your radio is. switch your remote wire and connect it to the blue/white wire coming out of the back, not the blue wire

fock, no blue/white wire on the harness. it looks like its been yanked out or something. is there anything else that could be used?

theres an orange/white wire labeled illumination. would that work? it would make sense since it would give a constant signal would it not?

You should be able to use the red acc. wire w/o problems if you dont have a remote wire.

no it wont work, best thing to do is tap into your radi fuse and run it off that. because that is switched which means it will only get power when your key is turned on. best thing to do is go to an auto parts store and get an inline fuse tap and run with that, they should know what it is. it will look like this http://www.nocablezone.com/images/fuse.jpg all you do is plug it and and read the instruction on what fuse to place where, then connect your remote wire to the wire coming out. boom theres your remote wire

what is that wires original purpose? because I already have it hooked up elsewhere. should I just crimp both wire together?

yeah, originally I did have it hooked up to the power ant., but the remote wire is missing from the harness so now I am looking for alternatives
