it is what it is. but u gotta admit its a lot of bandwagon mf's on ca.com.

one person plays devel's advocate then the rest follow. u know dam well that's bad to play on words to creat the impression the item good when it ant. u would be mad as fvck if u bought something u truly thought was working but get and its doa.

the guy that sold all those mc4000d's lied about what he had and I don't recall anybody sideing with him and give hell to all people that spent big money with him. and that guy had a history with fvcking up people with his forsale items.

No matter how hard i try i can't seem to stay out of trhis thread... I don't understand how so many people cannot comprehend the meaning of an AS-IS fukking sale!?!?!?!?

I purchased an '87 ***** Am when i was 17. I went straight from the car lot to teh exhaust shop for a true dual exhaust and Flowmaster 40's. When they put it on the lift and started to raise it, the car LITERALY starting folding in half! The car was SO rusted it was unbelievable but the car lot did some nice bondo work on the body and repainted it so it looked SHARP and at the time i was an ignorant buyer (like the OP) and just thought i was getting a killer deal on a ***** Am ($600). Obviously that was not the case but it was an AS-IS fukking sale so even then at 17 a realized the only person to blame was myself and i "bit the bullet" on the deal and learned from my mistake rather than blame the seller for my ignorance.

IMO, the buyer is at fault and the seller should get to keep his money. People need to stop being so fukking cheap and letting there love for the almighty dollar over ride their common fukkin sense! That being said, yes, i LOVE a good deal and i always look for the best deal i can find. I bought that brand new in box SS XXX-6500D off ebay for $300~ knowing there was a good chance i could just end up being out $300 but that was not the case, i got a **** good deal. the seller had like 2 feedback at teh time so i knew it was a HUGE risk. Everyone on ROE, CAC and here said i got scammed but then when it showed up people bid pretty good on his other 4 6500d's and they went for $600+

would anyone pay $200 for a blown MA audio amp?

he was misleading and never said it DID NOT work. almost like false advertising

you are missing the entire fukking point he CLEARLY states it is an AS-IS auction and never once says that it IS functional. Show me where it states that the seller HAS to say if it is not working. Then i will care, until then it was a fair auction, everyone had the chance to ask questions the buyer didn't it is his fault. I bet a TON of people asked him questions and then decided not to bid based on his answers.

the bottom line here is:

1. he never said it IS IN WORKING CONDITION, so he didn't "false advertise" in any way shape or form

2. The potential buyers had plenty of time to ask questions, if they didn;t that is their fault

3. it very clearly states it is an AS-IS auction, NO RETURNS

if u read my posts in this thread u will see I bid willing to take that same risk u was willing to. as a matter of fact, if u look at that seller feadback that sold them new 6500d's u will see that I was second to buy one behind u. its the same risk. look in my threads and u will find the one I made about that seller. he shipped from south fl. right?

I'm totally with you Bro. I don't believe you did anything wrong,

smoke just hooking it up to power, thats just //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif and you got it on video.

I feel the seller is at fault if they don't fully disclose anything pertenent to the operation of the amp. If the amp isn't working state that shit.

-AS IS- as in cosmetic defects maybe, but not working, screw that.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

I'm glad your getting your doe back.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

lol, it's funny how the majority of you guys including the OP don't understand the meaning of AS-IS even though it's been explained.

the ebay seller has nothing wrong in his sale. the item was auctioned of AS-IS and anyone with a little common sense would clearly see that it's a big red flag to not buy the item. apparently some of you guys don't see that.

another thing the OP could have asked a question as to the true condition of the amp.

overall. paypal made a mistake of returning you your money.
