ebay hid kit sucess??

bad review on ddm tunning from friends can some one tell me if its true, they said they order 6k but looks like 8k, 8k that look like 10k or it might me the other way wrong 8k-6k 10k-8k? And the other is it takes a good 3 weeks to month to get kit is these Assumptions true?

It took my 55w kit 2 weeks to arrive, but color is on point. I ordered 8000k , but my lights look white with small hint of blue due to 55w ballast. Friend of mine has 8000k bulbs on 35w ballasts but it is a bit too blue for my liking

The last time I was on ddm they had to ballast regular and raptor i believe which one is the better one to get?

I have the raptors, i had room to fit the full size ballasts around my housings, the slim ballasts are only needed if you have no room.

no, the big ballasts aren't on the site so they're probably out of stock, the 35w was $30 and 55w was $40. these slim ballasts are $5 more. still a great set of lights tho

ok so you guys are all over the board here lol ..so what should i go with slim ballast 35w 6k or 55 w 6k ..they will be ging in stock style blacked out housings not projectors

i know that best output is around 4200..but i do want a lil color why i said 8k ...so 6 is everybodies choice??

i saw a guy do a review of a few ebay ballast same bulbs and the xentec amd another were spose to be 5k looked super blie like 8k or 10k while the good kit he had was brighter and true color ...so many **** options

I recently joined Acurazine.com since getting my TL, and HidExtra.com is the forum boner for hid kits and bulbs. Not sure if they have what you need but they seem to be good quality according to many members there. 6k is usually the highest you want to go, otherwise you lose too much output and starts turning too blue for most peoples taste.

Get what you pay for.. I retrofitted projectors into my truck and car and run Morimoto ballast,bulbs, and wiring harness. Very good quality and well worth the money.

I have installed DDMs for people before. I would never personally buy a set. They take a long time to warm up, flicker, every now and then one bulb wont ignite, and their customer service *****.

BTW dont run HIDs in reflector headlights. Even almost all of then projector headlights on ebay are designed for halogen bulbs. So when you install HIDs you get odd patterns, blotchy light, and rough cutoffs.

35w will be fine.. Also if your wanting more color your going to lose a good amount of road light... Along with the fact your using stock housings!! I wanted a blue tint also. I spent the money for a quality kit, they looked fine when you were standing in front of the car but behind the wheel it was horrible light on the road!! I would really really shy away from the blue tint you're wanting... Just my two cents

so what should.i go with ..thy arent the stock headlights but i believe they are still reflector housings..and i dont want all they ugly halo style prohector lights
