easy question, connecting RCA's

okay so i bought a pioneer deh-p4600mp mp3 player for my car, it has 2 sets of rca jacks and they are red and white, my RCA's from my old sub system are red and black... which one goes where and do i put it in the rear output or front output? or are these jacks for something else? thanks for any help, sorry, im fairly new to this.

red - red

white - black

Color doesn't really matter. As long as you know which is which.

Front - front speaker amp

Rear - rear speaker amp or sub
